New Managing Director Appointed For Evolis India

Angers, January 10, 2018 – Evolis SA (EPA: ALTVO), world leader in plastic card personalization solutions, announces the appointment of Ganesh Ramamurthy as new managing director of its Indian subsidiary. As of January 3, 2018 Ganesh Ramamurthy will manage all sales, marketing, technical support and administrative activities of the headquarters in Mumbai as well as the four regional sales and support offices in India.

Ganesh Ramamurthy, 46, joins Evolis from Kodak Alaris India, where he had been Director & Country Business Manager since 2013. He has worked with Kodak Alaris India and Kodak India for over 19 years across various business units in India ranging from consumer films to digital cameras and photo-printing. Ganesh’s in-depth knowledge of printing technologies and B-to-B distribution channels acquired at Kodak will be crucial to the promotion of Evolis printing systems in the Indian market.

Ganesh has 22 years’ of work experience in conceiving marketing strategies and executing successful go-to-market models for various businesses and has a proven track record of setting up new businesses or turning around unprofitable businesses.

Ganesh holds a graduate degree in Visual Communications from Loyola College in Chennai, India, and a Post-Graduate in Management from the Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) in Anand, India.

Other work experiences in Ganesh’s career include positions in sales and general managing at FCB Ulka Advertising, TI Cycles of India and Cochlear Medical Devices.

Following the acquisition of the remaining stakes in Evolis India Pvt Ltd. in October 2017, the historical Indian distributor of Evolis products has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the France-based card printer manufacturer.
